We're a small, friendly team of support workers. We match you with the right person, so support feels like time with someone who gets you.
Getting started
Call, email or fill in the form and tell us what you need. A support coordinator or family member can contact us for you.
We get to know you and choose a support worker who suits you. If we're not the right fit, we'll help you find someone who is.
We agree on times that work for you. You can change your plan with us at any time.
Support work
We're flexible and happy to work out what fits best within your plan.
Help with everyday tasks at home, like cooking and household jobs, plus help organising your life and your appointments. Or simply some company.
Get out and about, try new things and build connections. We can come with you to appointments too, or join you for gallery trips, coffee, the beach and game day.
Orchid's Direct: hotels, Airbnbs or resorts with planned activities. Orchid's Connect: a hosted home stay with chances to connect with the community.
Ongoing help to live as independently as you choose. Ask us what we can offer in your area.
Our speciality
We support wheelchair athletes at training and competitions, at state and national level. That includes players in the Bond University wheelchair rugby team at Wheelchair Rugby League rounds.
Wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair rugby league are growing fast in Australia. Want to start playing? We can connect you with local clubs and programs.
Our workers join training sessions and travel to competitions with our athletes, helping out on the competition floor.

Our team
There's a support worker for every client. We do everything we can to find your match.
10 years in support work. Started in 2016 and has run her own company since 2019. Plays rugby union and rugby league on the Sunshine Coast, loves the gym and fantasy books, and is training as a pilot. Her cat Albus is her favourite company.
Studying Occupational Therapy. 9+ years in early childhood education and care, birth to 16+. Enjoys theatre, craft markets and a cup of tea with her cat, Alice.
